Let’s talk worthiness

This week, I wanted to talk worthiness. This to me is the foundation of what creates a great life. When you know with 1000% without question that you're worthy, and you show up in that energy, not only do you attract the people, circumstances, and things that reflect this belief, but you give yourself immense grace for being human, and almost all 'challenges' become less heavy because you know they are not a reflection of your worth.

Breaking this down a bit further, here are examples of what worthiness vs. unworthiness looks like in certain situations.

I remember the first time this idea was brought to my attention, and just how uncomfortable I felt when looking at the responses for what it looks like to show up 'worthy'. I thought, "How selfish, I can't respond like that." Like a lot of us, I am a recovering people pleaser, and often times I would choose to put the well being of others before myself. It wasn't until I dipped my toe into trying out 'showing up worthy' that I discovered just how powerful it is. The first experience of it was uncomfortable, and at times, I would be paralyzed by the anxiety of 'what will they think of me'. Just like everything else, once I practiced this more and more, it because easier and easier. The result, well, I am not done yet, nor do I ever think I will be, however, since implementing the energy of worthiness within my life, my relationships, health, finances, and abundance have increased significantly without me 'efforting'. So all in all life became easier and more fun, and I felt better about myself as well. Sounds too good to be true? Why not give it a try. The next time you're in a situation where you're being challenged to choose between showing up for you or the other person, thing, or circumstance, try choosing you. I promise you, through the discomfort, you will come out on the other end of it feeling powerful and knowing that you can do this!

One last reminder, this life that you're in right now, in this moment, is it. It is not a dress rehearsal. There is no reason to wait before you start living your best life, start now. You deserve to know and live with worthiness, it is your birthright.
